learning to live simply so I may simply live

Baked Parmesan Asparagus

Asparagus is a favorite veggie of mine; but I always cook it the same way. Steamed. While that is quick and good, I wanted something different. I decided I’d just try something new, and this is what I came up with.

Oven baked to the prefect crispness with garlic and parmasan. Delicious! I didn’t even need to dip it in mayonnaise.

Instructions
  1. Clean, dry and cut ends off of asparagus. Arrange in single layer on baking sheet
  2. Sprinkle on chopped garlic, olive oil, sea salt and parmasan cheese. Using tongs or your hands mix gently so asparagus is coved
  3. Bake at 375 degrees for about 25 minutes or until tender and tips are slightly crisped
  4. Serve immediately and enjoy!
